Meditech Expanse Progress Update: March 3rd 2026

We are officially in the home stretch of our transition to Meditech Expanse. With less than 2 months remaining until our May 1st go-live date, our teams are moving from preparation into confidence.

Reaching Major Milestones

We recently passed our Mock Live Phase Gate, a critical step that validates our system preparation. This success clears the way for our full Mock Live event, scheduled for March 10–12. During this time, we will process 25 test accounts across both acute and ambulatory settings to simulate real-world workflows.

Our current project metrics reflect significant progress:

  • Data Gathering: 100% complete.

  • Superuser Training: 100% of our superusers have been confirmed and trained.

  • Dictionary Build: Currently at 85% completion as we continue to refine the system for our specific needs.

Training and Support

Education remains a top priority as we move into the final two months. Mandatory end-user training is taking place throughout March and April. We are also utilizing the MedPower LMS to ensure every staff member is prepared before they step into in-person sessions.

To support our team during the transition, onsite support will be available from April 30 through May 8 to assist with the official launch.

We are excited about the momentum we are building and look forward to the enhanced care experience Meditech Expanse will provide to our community.
